Yes, it may be sacreligious, but I really don't care for Harry all that much. I like all of Tamora Pierce's fantasy series much better. They have lots of magic, adventure and action. And Susan Cooper's fantasy novels were better too. And Garth Nix's Abhorsen trilogy! I've read the Nix and Pierce series several times.
