I've become a huge Terry Pratchett fan of late, particularly his Discworld series. The audio books are a blast. My favorites are those with the witches--Nanny Ogg, Granny Weatherwax, & Magrit Garlick. Next come the "men" of the Night Watch. My all time favorite, especially in the audio version, is Monstrous Regiment. Give them a try.
PS His juvenile & young adult books are also wonderful. MG
